We can work on anything you like, kit building, building from a blank, carving, engraving, finishing, etc. Stay as long or as little as you like. $150 per day.

Mike posted some time ago offering gunmakers classes for $150.00 per day. Well, I’ve been a hobby gun stocker for around 35 years rarely if ever going beyond poor boy, plain Jane, or generic. I spent most of my time at work, restoring our old house, or helping with the kids. I’m now a retired guy with the same interest in this gun work but with a desire to improve. I contacted Mike and told him what I wanted to learn (relief carving and basic engraving). I made the trip to Iowa last week and brought along a rifle that I had ready to carve.
